Edible Living — Personal Work

Upstate Location / Lifestyle + Food

This project grew out of an editorial assignment and took on a more personal shape over time. Shot with cookbook author Sarah Copeland, her kids, and their friends, it documents a series of recipes built around berries and stone fruit picked at a local farm upstate where we live.

The approach was intentionally light — no formal styling and no client on set — keeping the work responsive to the place and the people in it. Drawing on my editorial background, the images move between wider, environmental moments and more intimate details, building a sense of story through both.

I love working this way — with a light footprint, responding to what’s there rather than overbuilding it.
